With every new year comes new and better movies, and this year isn't any different.

There are so many blockbusters this year that you could watch a new dope ass movie every week, but I'll only be featuring the most anticipated and fans favorites on this list. Let's get to it!

First on the list is Captain Marvel, this will be the MCU's first movie of the year and the first Captain Marvel movie.

It is set for release March 8th.

Shazam!, based on the DC comics character of the same name.

I expect a lot from this movie, with DC trying to include more comedy in their storylines, like we saw in Aquaman last year.

Hellboy, this one is a classic, after over a decade away from the big screen, Big Red is making a big comeback this year!

Avengers: Endgame, the talk of the town, the MCU left us all in suspense, with half of the superheroes disappearing into thin air.

The grand finale of the Avengers series is out April 26th.

John Wick 3: Parabellum, now this guy might as well be part of the Marvel Comic Universe, because his gun skills are a valid superpower.

In this edition, the hunter becomes the hunted when a price is put on John's head and he has to escape New York city, I can already picture the headshots.

Godzilla: King of the monsters, it is a sequel to Godzilla (2014), multiple titans are going to be introduced in this movie and I really can't wait for it's release on May 31st.

Men In Black: International, this is anther classic, one of my favorites from back in the days and the fourth of the Men In Black series.

Toy Story 4, for those who are big fans of animations, the fourth of the Toy story series will be out in cinemas June 21.

Spider-man: Far from Home, I know you might be confused here, "Isn't Spider-man dead for good", but we just have to wait for July 5th and see.

The Lion King, based on the 1994 animation of the same name by Disney studios, this has to be the most talked about movie of the year and it's out July 19th.

Fast and Furious presents: Hobbs and Shaw, this is a fast and furious spin-off, centered around characters Agent Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw.

Universal Pictures just had to capitalize on that crazy fight scene between the both of them in "Fate of the Furious".

Out in cinemas August 2nd.

It: Chapter two, It is a sequel to "It", released back in 2017, if you're a fan of horror, this is the one for you.

It is set for release on September 6th.

The official trailer isn't out yet, but should be released in the first quarter of the year.

Joker, it centers around the iconic arch-nemesis of the same name and is set for release on October 4th.

Star Wars: Episode IX, the monumental finale of the Skywalker saga is out in cinemas on Christmas eve.
