Sadeeq Adeyinka Adeleke is a 20 year old, Lagos born and based self-taught Creative Content Creator and Digital Marketer known better as SDQ. SDQ, being a multi-talented creative can create a wide range of content from logos and posters to sublime pieces of artwork.

We had a chat with SDQ about a range of topics both personal and professional. Here’s what he had to say on our #LoudrQandA:

How did you get into design?

I could paint and draw since I was young. I have always had visual ideas. A friend of mine gave me the set up in 2015 and that summer started the digital journey.

What type of creative and person would you say SDQ is?

Can’t say really what type of creative I am, I can’t be confined into a box. I’m always trying to evolve and become a better version of myself.

And as for the type of person I am; I’m a realist, a marxist feminist and a lover man.

What's your working process like?

The programs I use are majorly Photoshop and Premiere Pro. At the end of the day the tools don’t really matter, it’s the idea that does. Sometimes I could create in 30 minutes and sometimes in 2 weeks. The vibes and the ideas don’t just hit at the same time.

How do you handle conflicts in interest or ideas between you and a client?

To be very honest I’m yet to have any conflict. Except in time management really. But I honestly try my best to explain. I have faults in my work due to time management because I love my work being exceptional.

What is the medium you prefer clients to hit you up for work?

Twitter or instagram so they can see my style

What have great influences on your work?

Not even going to lie, just good music. The vibe isn’t really timed, it comes when it wants to.

What other fields of creativity/entertainment do you think you would fit in?

I learnt photography for 3 years. Did videography for 3 too. I can edit videos And photographs. Tryna learn how to program though, so maybe I could fit in any of those.

What do you study in University?

In my 4th year in Babcock university studying International law and diplomacy. Why not something art or tech related? Well, I’m lowkey in love with learning new words and expanding my vocabulary, so International law and diplomacy gives me that space.
